Perfect spot for family stay
Rooms were exceptionally large, we even had a nice view up Cockburn Street which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was super friendly, even letting us check in early so we could settle in with the kids.
The rates were a bit high but still reasonable for the quality we received.

The hotel has a fantastic location close to the Royal Mile and Waverley Station, making it convenient to explore the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom had some quirks like a misplaced towel rack. However, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Quirky and modern decor, unique living wall decor, convenient airport transport options
Noise from the street and hotel bar was distracting!!! The rooms felt cramped, and the bathrooms could use some serious enlarging!!! WiFi connectivity was frustratingly weak!!! Some paths were difficult to navigate!!!

the location couldn't be any better, right next to waverley station and super close to everything u want to see! the room was really lively and comfy, loved the big bed and nice shower. the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. great to have cafes and shops nearby for snacks and coffee. the breakfast spread looked awesome even tho we skipped it for some local eats.
only negatives were the smallish room with not enough space for our stuff and we had some issues finding our room due to confusing signage.

Perfect spot for sightseeing
Had a fab time here! The location is a total win—easy walk to both Old and New Town. My room was super cozy (loved the sheep art! ). The bar area was nice for unwinding with a drink after a day exploring. Just wish my room was warmer. the heater was a bit wonky.

The dining scene nearby is legendary! I hit up Devil's Advocate for some cracking Scottish fare and Gurkha Cafe for a taste of Nepalese spice that had me grinning ear to ear. Plus, the hotel has a cozy bar that stays open 24/7, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures!
For over $600 AUD a night, I was greeted with a lack of fridge and a fogged-up bathroom with no ventilation. And a trek to reception every time I needed something was a bit much. Still, my bed was pretty comfy, so there's that.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Royal Mile and close to major attractions. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed, which made for a restful night after a day of exploring. The staff were also very accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage securely before check-in. One downside was the small size of the room, which made it a bit cramped with our belongings. it was good value for a short stay in the city.

The best part was the unbeatable location! Super easy to walk to all the sights. The room was cozy, but it got a bit warm at night. 😅

Perfect location, comfy stay!
We spent 4 nights and had a really nice time. The staff were super friendly and helped us out with a heater when it got a bit chilly in our room. The location is just awesome – right by the train station and a quick walk to the Royal Mile. Just wish the heating was a bit easier to control.

perfect base for exploring edinburgh's treasures on foot
I had an amazing stay here thanks to its super convenient location just a few steps from the Royal Mile and a short walk to the stunning views from Calton Hill, making my city strolls a breeze. plus, the staff were beautifully welcoming, always making me feel at home.

I stumbled upon some cheeky delights nearby—Devil's Advocate with killer whiskey and Burgers and Beers Grillhouse serving gems that hit the spot! And oh, the hearty breakfast buffet at the hotel was quite the treat, fueling my culinary adventures! And let's not forget, the staff here were friendly as a pub on a Saturday night.
But on the flip side, my room was dark and felt like a shoebox, not exactly the cozy upgrade I dreamed of. It took a bit of navigating the maze to get to reception, which was a hassle when all I wanted was a cuppa.
